Yap,, seorang penyanyi muslim asal Lebanon yang merambah ke dunia music sejak tahun 2009. Mungkn di Indonesia nama ini baru-baru terdengar. Namun ternyata Maher Zain telah dikenal di Eropa, AS, Australia, Timur Tengah, Malaysia, Singapura, dan Brunei Darussalam.
Melalui album yang berjudul “Thank You Allah” yang telah diliris pada tanggal 1 November 2009, beliau mulai dikenal di kalangan music dunia. Album yang berisikan 13 lagu dan 2 lagu bonus terdiri dari beberapa versi, diantaranya bahasa Prancis, Arab, Urdu, Turki, Melayu, dan juga Indonesia. Namun secara keseluruhan lagu Maher Zain berbahasa Inggris.
Lagu-lagu yang dinyanyikan bernuansa Islami. Dewasa ini kita merasa agak canggung mendengarkan lagu-lagu religi (*kesannya kurang keren gitu* katanya anak remaja zaman sekarang). Namun, jangan salah dengan lagu-lagu yang dinyanyikan oleh Maher Zain ini,, sekali anda mendengar lagu-lagunya, pasti anda akan tersentuh dan merasa sejuk di dalam hati. Dan anda tidak akan cepat merasa bosan mendengarkannya.
